Adopt a Boardwalk Cat

Give a boardwalk cat a home.

Some of the cats we rescue are friendly enough to leave boardwalk life behind. Every adoptable cat has been vet-checked, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. If you think you can offer one of them a safe, loving indoor home, we’d love to hear from you.

Adopting a rescued cat is a lifelong commitment, so please fill out the application below carefully and completely — it helps us make a good match. Once submitted, someone from our team will get back to you shortly.

Do you own or rent your home?*
Do you have other pets?*
Are children living in the home?*
Primarily, where will the cat live?*

Adoption Terms and Agreement

By submitting this form, I agree to the following terms and conditions, intending to be legally bound by them:

  1. I understand every Cats of the Boardwalk cat is spayed or neutered and vaccinated before adoption, and I agree to keep the cat current on veterinary care at my own expense.
  2. I agree to a meet-and-greet before adoption, and to a home visit or follow-up check if requested.
  3. I will keep the cat as a companion animal in my home, never for resale, breeding, or as an outdoor-only or working animal.
  4. If the adoption does not work out at any point, I agree to return the cat to Cats of the Boardwalk rather than surrender, sell, give away, or abandon it.

  6. I understand these are rescued community cats: Cats of the Boardwalk makes no guarantee of temperament or health, and is not liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or expenses in connection with an adopted cat.
  7. I have accurately and truthfully completed this adoption form.
